The Texans Might Be Wearing Oilers Blue This Season

There was a picture tweeted out over the weekend that, if it is to be believed, shows 30 of the team’s color rush uniforms for the 2016 season. On the card that sent out the color next to the Houston Texans logo is a blue very similar to the Houston Oilers Columbia Blue.

The Houston Texans have released 2015 starting quarterback Brian Hoyer according to multiple reports. Hoyer will become a free-agent and will be able to sign with any team he wishes.

Houston Texans 2016 Schedule Released

All the Houston Texans fans were waiting for was the when, and now we know that. The Texans play five primetime games this season, two on Monday Night (Week 7 & Week 11), one on Sunday night (Week 6), one on Saturday (Week 16) and their annual Thursday Night game (Week 3). They are also facing a lot of familiar foes in those primetime games starting with the Thursday Night game in New England in Week 3. That game will be broadcast on CBS, the NFL Network and streamed on Twitter.

Carlos Correa is off to a prodigious start in his first full major league season. His latest impressive performance went to waste at Yankee Stadium, though. Collin McHugh got only one out in the shortest start of his career, and the Houston Astros were routed by the New York Yankees 16-6 on Wednesday night.
