Cecil Shorts Twitter Got Hacked

Twitter Passwords need to be dynamic. Especially if you are a professional athlete. Houston Texans wide receiver Cecil Shorts fell victim to a hack on Wednesday.

The hackers started sending out graphic and photos and links on Shorts’ account while changing his avatar and username but keeping his handle.

10 Houston Based Companies That Should Buy Rockets Jersey Ad Space

On Monday, the Philadelphia 76ers announced that they were the first team in the NBA to add a logo sponsor on their game jerseys. StubHub will appear on the left shoulder of the Sixers jersey. The company will pay $5M a year for the logo placement. This got us thinking about the companies in Houston that should pony up the money and get ad space on the Houston Rockets for the upcoming season.

76ers Become The First NBA Team With On Jersey Ad

The Philadelphia 76ers have become the first team in the NBA to put a sponsorship logo on player uniforms, striking a deal with StubHub for a spot on one of the hottest pieces of real estate available in sports.

StubHub, a website that connects ticket buyers and sellers, will have its logo appear on the front left of the jersey in 2017-18 for the start of a three-year trial period. The patches will appear opposite Nike’s logo, and measure about 2½-by-2½ inches.

Sometimes people might look at the 8-24 Atlanta Braves and think they are a minor league team. But they are in fact a major league baseball team. On Tuesday night, Braves center fielder Ender Inciarte dupped Phillies catcher Carlos Ruiz on a flyball to center field. Straight from the Little League playbook of trick plays Inciarte acted like he couldn’t see the fly ball hit towards his left. All the while tracking the can of corn towards right center. Ruiz who was on first saw this and kept moving towards second base. But as the ball fell towards Inciarte he snagged it and threw a rocket to first base to double off the catcher.

The University of Houston Cougars are trying to build their brand and their school into a desirable entity for the Big 12 Conference to add them into the power five conference. According to a report on Houston, the University of Memphis, University of Central Florida and Colorado State University are lobbying members of the Big 12 composition committee.
