I want to say the most underrated player is Brice McCain or Glover Quinn because this team is built around its defense. However, as the season progresses I think it's James Casey. Casey is essentially filling two roster spots. He's a tremendous threat as a hybrid H-back and third tight end, but also has become a huge asset as a blocking fullback.

Kareem Jackson. I think because Kareem's first season was so awful, people are too quick to simply say that Kareem Jackson is playing better than he was as a rookie. Well, of course he is, but it is much more than that. He's been one of the better corners in the NFL this year, having only one bad game in the 1st half of the season.
