Kudos to NBA commissioner Adam Silver being open to ideas. And here’s to hoping he shoots down an anti-tanking initiative currently on the table. A number of proposals to overhaul the draft slotting system have […]
T. D. Williams, Medium.com, joined MaD Radio to discuss an article he wrote on Daryl Morey. Williams explained why he has been critical of Morey because he hasn’t taken Houston “to the promised land” yet. He said he isn’t against the use of analytics in basketball, but says they have to be used careful. He said that Morey has created what he calls a “treadmill team” and doesn’t agree with his decision to not bring Chandler Parsons back. Chandler Parsons is reportedly very happy with his new three-year, $46 million contract from the Dallas Mavericks, made official late Sunday night when the Rockets decided not to match the offer sheet.
He’s reportedly less enthused about how he got there.
After missing out on Chris Bosh, losing Chandler Parsons and dealing away Jeremy Lin and Omer Asik, the Rockets could use a lot of help. Sharp shooters off the bench. Bench players in general. Not […]
