Joel Corry Breaks Down Texans Cap Room Issues Moving Forward

NFL cap expert Joel Corry joined The Fred & Ted Show to discuss the daunting cap issues the Texans have ahead of them. He talked about Rick Smith’s reputation around the league when it comes to players and trades. Corry discussed what the Texans might do with players like Matt Schaub and Andre Johnson moving forward. He also looked at Arian Foster and Ben Tate’s deals moving forward. Corry said Texans may have to do some maneuvering to keep guys like J.J. Watt around.

Rich Gannon Talks Texans And QB Uncertainty

Former NFL MVP Rich Gannon joined The Fred & Ted Show to talk about all things football. He talked about all the uncertainty the Texans have had at the quarterback position this season. Gannon says Keenum is an interesting prospect but has a ways to go moving forward. He said at this point Kubiak needs to just focus on the team having a clean performance moving forward. He also chimed in on what happened with the whole Richie Incognito situation.

Damon Jones: “Harden Has To Commit To Being A Better Defender”

Former NBA player Damon Jones joined The Fred & Ted Show to discuss the Rockets season so far. He isn’t surprised Harden and Howard have done so well together so far. Jones talked about how the first loss the Rockets have had so far shows what they need to work on moving forward with the season. He talked about the defense and how Harden needs to work on the defensive side of his game. Moving forward, Jones says the Rockets still have some work to do moving forward.

The Colts Are Gunning For Keenum This Sunday

ESPN’s Mike Wells joined The Fred & Ted Show to talk about the Texans and Colts game Sunday. He talked about the vulnerability of the team without Reggie Wayne, but says he doesn’t think it’ll be as bad as people are thinking. Wells talked about what makes Andrew Luck a special player and good quarterback. He also discussed Pagano’s coaching style. Wells talked about how little the Colts know about Keenum but says they were impressed with his performance against the Chiefs.

James also looked at the differences between Kubiak and Pagano when it comes to input in the different areas of the teams.

Case Keenum’s High School Coach Gives Some Insight

Coach Hugh Sandifer, Case Keenum’s high school coach, joined The Fred & Ted Show to talk about his former player. He talked about the fact people always counted Keenum on and yet he kept persevering. He attested to Keenum’s positive attitude and maturity and the fact that that has helped him through thus far. He said that Keenum has a very hard game and that he knows he will put pressure on himself to play well and take advantage of this chance.
