Holder also talked about how women struggle to be taken seriously in sports and sports media. She also addressed the Aaron Hernandez murder case and what she thinks could happen with that. She discussed how the jury has such a huge impact on how trials play out.
Isaiah Kacyvenski joined Ted Johnson and Brien Straw on Radio Row. He gave his take on the AFC versus the NFC lately and states it’s no competition. Kacyvenski talked about the trouble with the best players not getting to play in the NFL. He talked about his time playing with the Seahawks and getting to raise the 12th Man flag for them.
Bill Romanowski joined Ted Johnson and Brien Straw on Radio Row. He talked about how it has changed to play in the NFL over the years. He says though the rule changes might mean more penalties that might not be a bad thing.
Former NFL player Mitch Berger joined Ted Johnson and Brien Straw on Radio Row. Berger supports Chris Kluwe for standing up for what he believes in but thinks he didn’t lose his job because of that. He talked about the fact that Shane Lechler should make it into the Hall of Fame. Berger talked a bit about his recollections from the Super Bowl he went to in his time as a player and why he’s remembered for Snickers.
David Treadwell, 850 KOA Denver, joined Ted Johnson and Brien Straw to talk about Sunday’s Super Bowl. He talked about his own experience going to a Super Bowl as a kicker. Treadwell gave a bit of history on the Broncos organization and how they’ve made their way to the Super Bowl this time around. He talked about John Elway being a big mastermind behind a lot of Denver’s success.
