Colts Again Pass On Offensive Line, Add Former Florida Defensive Back

By Matt Hammond, SportsRadio 610

Another pick for the Indianapolis Colts, another defensive back.

After selecting safety Malik Hooker with the 15th overall pick in the 2017 NFL Draft, fisrt-year general manager Chris Ballard took former Florida cornerback Quincy Wilson with their second round pick.

At 6-foot-1, 211 pounds, Wilson possesses the requisite frame for a player at the position in today’s NFL. He’s said to have the body type and skill set to play safety in some sets, and excels playing the run or the pass.

It’s worth repeating, though, that Andrew Luck’s offensive line is absolutely miserable, and one year into a six-year, $140 million contract, Luck has already got two major injuries to his name (lacerated kidney, shoulder).

The Colts play the Houston Texans in Week 9 at NRG Stadium, and in the regular season finale at Lucas Oil Stadium.
