PHILADELPHIA (CBS HOUSTON) – The Tennessee Titans selected Western Michigan wide receiver Corey Davis with the fifth overall selection in the 2017 NFL draft.

Davis became the all time leading receiver in Division 1 FBS history my amassing 5,278 career receiving yards in four seasons with the Broncos.

In 14 games in his senior season Davis accumulated 97 catches for 1500 yards and 22 touchdowns. He was named a first team All-American and MAC Conference Offensive player of the year last season.

The Texans face the Titans for the first time on Sunday October 1st at NRG Stadium and visit Nashville on Sunday December 13th.

The last seven first round selections for the Titans have been offensive players.
