Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Rockets thrived on defense and offense in game one against the Oklahoma City Thunder partially led by the energy and play of Patrick Beverley. We’re sure having nothing to do with the 118-87 win, Beverley has one request for game two, put J.J. Watt in the same seats he sat in for game one.
Watt was courtside and got a lot of attention, including from Beverley who stared him down and then high-fived him after a big three-pointer during the big win.
Watt said on Monday that he didn’t know what to do as Beverley stared him down, but loves the guard’s energy. The three-time defensive player of the year has expressed his love for Mr. 94 Feet.
We’ll see if Watt will get to watch him again Wednesday night.
