HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans will be hosting a draft party on the opening night at NRG Stadium and are inviting Texans fans to attend.
The party will begin at 6:30 pm just before the first round of the NFL Draft begins at 7 pm.
The coverage of the draft from NFL Network will be shown on televisions throughout the 100 level in the stadium and Texans Radio on Sportsradio 610 will broadcast live with commentary and analysis. The Texans will select 25th in the first round of this year’s draft. When the player is selected, he will be a guest on the Texans Radio broadcast.
Tickets for the event will be made available next Thursday and is expected to sell out like previous events. The team will reserve a limited number of tickets for the general public to give all Texans fans the chance to attend the event.
Parking for the Texans Draft Party will be free and will be located in the Blue Lot South of NRG Stadium.
Fans will also have opportunities to get autographs from Texans Ambassadors and see a performance from the 2017 Houston Texans Cheerleaders.
