Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans might be spending some time with the New England Patriots this preseason, according to a report from Mike Reiss the teams are in talks to train together at the Greenbrier in week 2 of the preseason.
The Texans will be in Greenbrier for the first time ever taking their training camp away from the Houston Methodist Training Center. The Texans have since Bill O’Brien became head coach, had a steady stream of practice partners for Training camp. They traveled to Washington, Denver and have hosted the Falcons in Houston for joint practices.
The Texans will likely be spending the first three weeks of training camp at the Greenbrier in West Virginia before coming back to Houston during the weeks of the four preseason games the team will play.
The Texans and the Patriots have met three times since Bill O’Brien took over as head coach, including twice last year ending in the Divisional round of the AFC Playoffs with a 34-16 loss in New England. O’Brien is 0-3 against the team he coached for for five seasons.
