Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans announced their opponents for the 2017 preseason on Monday.  The Texans will host the New England Patriots and Dallas Cowboys and travel to face the Carolina Panthers and New Orleans Saints to warm up for the 2017 season.

The Panthers will be the first game of the preseason for the Texans before hosting the defending Super Bowl Champion Patriots on the same field they won their fifth title on in week 2.

The Texans then travel to New Orleans to face the Saints, a regular opponent for the Texans in the preseason. This is the ninth meeting in ten years and tenth overall preseason matchup between to the two teams.

The Texans will face in-state rival Dallas to finish off the preseason for the third straight year and the 10th overall preseason matchup.
