Rockets Sam Dekker Out With A Broken Hand

Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Rockets will be looking for some help down the stretch as they announced forward Sam Dekker will miss time with a broken hand.

A statement from the team on Monday:

Houston Rockets General Manager Daryl Morey announced today that forward Sam Dekker underwent surgery to repair a fractured left hand.  Dr. Matthew Koepplinger of Memorial Hermann performed the surgery and will re-evaluate Dekker in approximately one week.

Dekker in his second year with the Rockets is averaging 18 minutes a game and 6.5 points coming off the bench.
