Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Astros are celebrating a lot of things this season; the opening of their new centerfield, a long potential playoff run (months down the road) and also their second ever hall of fame inductee in Jeff Bagwell.

So to kick off 2017 on the right foot the Astros had Craig Biggio, the team’s only other hall of famer, throw out the first pitch to Bagwell.

“We played our whole lives together here,” Craig Biggio said. “15-20 years together and to be able to do this was a lot of fun.”

Biggio took the mound and like he’s done so many times before threw the ball to Bagwell. It wasn’t the second to first throw we’ve all seen a million times but it sure brought back that memory.

Finally, on July 30, the two former teammates will live forever in Cooperstown as part of the hall of fame.
