According to multiple reports, on Monday, the Rockets will sign forward Troy Williams for the remainder of the season.

The 22-year old Williams was signed to a 10-day contract by the Rockets March 9 and had played in four games for the Rio Grand Valley Vipers, the team’s NBA Developmental League affiliate, averaging 21.8 points per game.

Undrafted out of Indiana, Williams played in 24 games, starting 13, for the Memphis Grizzlies and scored 5.3 points per game. He was waived on January 30, and was playing for the Iowa Energy before being signed by the Rockets.
