Luis Guillorme’s hoping to make an impact on the New York Mets front office this spring training. He is a strong defensive player, the team knows that. They didn’t know he’s practically a wizard defensively.
Even just standing in the dugout the 22-year-old infielder stops everything coming his way. Thursday he nonchalantly grabbed a flying bat heading into the Mets dugout.
As the rest of the Mets scrambled, Guillorme reached up and grabbed the bat, then just flipped it back to Marlins hitter Adeiny Hechevarria. No big deal.
