Rockets’ Coach Mike D’Antoni Uses Alternative Facts After Rockets Loss

The Houston Rockets fell 120-109 to the Boston Celtics on Wednesday night, the loss that has been a rough nine-game stretch for the Rockets in which they’ve gone 3-6. They wrap up a 9-game road trip this weekend with games against the 76ers and Pacers before coming home for a trifecta of Super Bowl week games that they hope to get back on the hot streak they had earlier in the year.

Before the most recent loss, however, Mike D’Antoni threw out that maybe the team hadn’t dropped five of eight and won all of those games.

The “alternative facts” of course is referencing a phrase used by Kelly Ann Conway, after White House Press Secretary Sean Spicer stated false numbers on President Donald Trump’s inauguration attendance.
