[LOOK] Here Is How The Astrodome Will Look For The Super Bowl

The Houston Astrodome has been dormant since 2008. Once the largest domed structure in the world, it now sits next to, dwarfed by, NRG Stadium. With all eyes on the city of Houston for Super Bowl 51 something needed to be done with iconic structure.  We seem to have our answer now as the “8th Wonder of the World” will have a new lighting scheme for Super Bowl week.

Here is a picture from Greg Hurst of KHOU that claims to show the lighting scheme for the outside of the Astrodome during Super Bowl.

The teal, a color that is used in frequent graphics for Super Bowl 51 is all that will adorn the building.
