Luke Bryan Will Sing Super Bowl LI National Anthem

Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – Country music superstar Luke Bryan will sing the National Anthem prior to the kickoff of Super Bowl LI at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sunday, February 5, the NFL and FOX announced Sunday.

This will be the first time Bryan appears during any Super Bowl festivities.  The award-winning singer will follow up this year’s halftime performer Lady Gaga who kicked off Super Bowl 50 in San Francisco singing the National Anthem.

The last time the Super Bowl was in Houston, Beyonce, a native to the city, sung the National Anthem.
