J.J. Watt Is Back Training With The Texans

Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have played without J.J. Watt since week 4 of the NFL season thanks to a second back injury that took the three-time defensive player of the year out of commission.

Good news for the Texans is that Watt is back on the road to recovery.  After taking it much slower than his first back surgery rehab J.J. Watt was back on the field training on Friday before the Texans faced the Oakland Raiders in the Wild Card Playoff game.

Watt will not return until the 2017 season, being placed on IR before week 4 and being ordered to only walk for the early part of his rehab, Watt will be able to try and get fully healthy during the offseason.
