Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – With only three days before the Houston Texans playoff game on Saturday, both quarterback Tom Savage and linebacker John Simon sat out of Wednesday’s practice.

Savage is likely still in the NFL’s concussion protocol, after the hit he received this past Sunday against the Tennesee Titans while trying to make a first down on a QB sneak.

Simon did not play against the Titans and was inactive with a chest injury. Simon has been dealing with a chest injury for a majority of the season but he did recently play against the Cincinnati Bengals.

No word if Savage or Simon will be able to take part in Saturday’s game, but head coach Bill O’Brien already shared that Brock Osweiler will start against the Raiders.
