Tom Savage Leaves Game In 2nd Quarter With Possible Concussion

UPDATE (1:50 CT) – Tom Savage re-evaluated for a concussion and is ruled out for the rest of the game.

 

UPDATE (1:03CT)Tom Savage has returned to the Texans sideline with his helmet on and cleared to return. 

Nashville, TN (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have locked in their place as the 4th seed in the AFC for the playoffs.

As they close out the season against the Tennessee Titans their starting quarterback Tom Savage left the game and is under the NFL Concussion protocol after a 4th & 1 sneak in the second quarter.

Savage gained a 1st down on a quarterback sneak and after getting up from the play was told by an official to leave the field.  He is being evaluated for a concussion.
