Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans will be missing four starters heading into the regular season finale in Tennesse against the Titans.
Defensive end Jadeveon Clowney, running back Lamar Miller, fullback Jay Prosch and outside linebacker John Simon have all been ruled out.
Prosch did practice on a limited basis on Wednesday but he was downgraded to no practice on Thursday and Friday with ankle and knee injuries.
Clowney and Simon both played Sunday’s game against the Cincinnati Bengals, but missed all week of practice.
Miller is the only player that has missed significant time of late, he’s been dealing with an ankle injury for some time. Miller missed the Bengals game and the etire week of practice leading up to it.
Earlier in the week, Bill O’Brien listed Miller as day to day.
With the fourth seed already locked up, these sits are probably considered more precautionary than anything very serious.
