Clowney Misses Practice For Texans; Miller Returns On Side Field

By: Alex Del Barrio, Sportsradio 610

HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Texans defensive end Jadeveon Clowney missed Wednesday’s practice as Houston prepares for the regular season finale against the Tennessee Titans in Nashville.

The game against the Titans has no playoff implications for the Texans who are already the AFC South champions and the designated fourth seed in the AFC playoffs.

Clowney has played in 14 of the 15 Texans games this year after an injury plagued first two seasons in the NFL. Clowney is second in the league in tackles for a loss this season with 16. Clowney has six sacks this season, second most on the Texans.

Running back Lamar Miller missed all of last week’s practices and the home game against the Bengals was seen at practice working on a side field with the Houston training staff.

John Simon was also seen at practice on a side field.
