HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Houston Texans tight end CJ Fiedorowicz did not practice for the team on Wednesday. The third-year tight end left Sunday’s game against the Colts in the fourth quarter to be evaulated for a concussion.
Fiedorowicz has been one of the few bright spots of a Texans passing offense that has struggled as the third worst in the league. He is second on the team in receptions (48), targets (75) and receiving touchdowns (3).
Jeff Allen, who also left Sunday’s game with a concussion and did not return, was also held out of practice on Wedensday. Johnathan Joseph (ribs) was also held out of practice with his rib injury that he sustained two week ago against Green Bay.
The Texans continue to lose targets for the struggling Brock Osweiler as he’s seen wide-outs Braxton Miller and Jaelen Strong go on season ending injured reserve over the last week.
The team signed wide receiver Wendall Williams off the practice squad to give the team some offense depth.
