Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – Earlier Tuesday we found out the Houston Texans were adding Wendall Williams to their active roster. The rookie wide receiver was perceived to add depth to a depleted wide receiving core. We have now found out that the Texans are using Williams to replace Braxton Miller on the active roster.
The 2016 3rd round pick from Ohio State was placed on the injured reserve in a subsequent move to make room on the active roster for Williams.
Miller had 15 receptions for 99 yards and one touchdown on the year.
