HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) The drama between the Houston Rockets and forward Donatas Motiejunas is finally over. After Houston pulled his offer sheet this morning, Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo Sports reported that the two sides were finally able to come together on a deal.
There’s no guarantee that Motiejunas will see ALL of that money. Per Woj, the Lithuanian big man will make $8.3 M this season. The Rockets will have a team option for the final three years of the deal.
Motiejunas still has to pass a physical – something he failed after being traded to the Pistons last season – to return to the team.
