It is just a matter of days before University of Texas football head coach Charlie Strong is officially no longer the leader of Longhorn football. Reports have come out that Strong is done after his team plays TCU on Friday.
With that, the talk of who will succeed Strong is getting stronger and all signs are pointing to University of Houston head coach Tom Herman. As is common place with these kinds of things the online and off shore betting community has placed odds on the person to take over UT football. Bovada.lv didn’t give odds on any other coach in the country to take over at Texas other than Herman.
A press release titled “Tom Herman is the only person with a chance to become the next Texas Coach according to the Oddsmakers,” confirmed Herman as the favorite to get the job.
The bet that people so inclined to do so can make is a simple yes or no:
Will Tom Herman be the coach of the Texas Longhorns for the 2017 season?
Yes -500 (1/5)
No +300 (3/1)
Herman is not only going to get interest from UT however, LSU has reportedly already talked with Herman’s agent and other teams who end up looking for a head coach will likely do the same.
