Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCullers is a very funny guy. We know, he joins Mad Radio every Thursday at 9:15 a.m. he is exceptionally well versed on the giant twitter machine.  On Thursday night the Astros had a bevy of big news come down.  First, they traded for Brian McCann, the veteran catcher.  Second Jose Altuve, a finalist for the MVP, was third in the MVP voting, losing out to Mike Trout of the Los Angeles Angels. Finally, it was reported that the team signed outfielder Josh Reddick to a 4-year $52M deal.

With all the news coming down so fast Lance was making his feelings on all the moves and information known, and it was quite hilarious (SERIOUSLY GO FOLLOW HIM ON TWITTER.)

On Monday Lance made a point that he wanted Altuve to win the MVP or he was going to be angry!

Adam Abramson remembered the call when Trout was named the MVP.

Lance took his frustration out on some who voted, but were just delivering the news.

Then the conspiracies came out.  Maybe it wasn’t Altuve’s fault he lost. Russia probably had something to do with it.

Trout is good.  But there is one guy he’s not good against as Thomas Maidlow pointed out to Lance.

But baseball is full of superstitions, also, a guy like Trout you don’t want to let him know (even though he probably already does) that he is owned by a guy. Lance wasn’t very excited about the public information.

And congratulations were in order for Altuve after a historic year.

Then Lance moved onto the acquisition fo Brian McCann.  The 13-year veteran could help the Astros tremendously. McCann talked about his excitement coming ot Houston.

Lance, is also really excited, for obvious reasons.

Lance also knows he did some things that might not have gone over well with his former rival who is now his teammate, and it’s a game, you have to do what you have to do.

Don’t go analyzing the Astros now after all these moves and leave off Lance McCullers.  Just don’t do it. (YOU HEAR US KEN ROSENTHAL!?) Luckily, Lance isn’t bothered by that stuff.  He’s got his tea.
