The Texans started off their AFC South contest against the Jaguars on the right foot with a pick six of Blake Bottles on Jacksonville’s first drive of the game. The two teams traded scoring drives and then, things got a little bit weird.
With the Jaguars driving once again into Texans territory, Bortles attempted to find his running back TJ Yeldon on a short screen. It didn’t exactly go as planned.
Yep, that ball went off the foot of Yeldon, bounced about five-to-ten yards back towards the middle of the field, right into the hands of Mercilus. If that’s not the weirdest interception you’ll ever see, I don’t know what is.
