Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have made some roster moves on Wednesday morning. They have signed free agent safety Don Jones to the active roster. They also signed defensive end Brandon Dunn from the practice squad to the active roster.
In subsequent moves the Texans put rookies K.J. Dillon (S) and Brennan Scarlett (OLB) on IR with injuries.
Kevin Johnson, the Texans 1st round pick in 2015, hurt his foot Sunday Night and will be out some time, according to Bill O’Brien, but no moves were made with him today.
The Texans also signed cornerback Denzel Rice to the practice squad. Safety Lonnie Ballentine returned to practice but remains on the Physically Unable to Perform list.
