HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Texans have been dealing with a variety of injuries to members of their defense including two members of their starting secondary sitting out their wild 26-23 comeback victory over the Indianapolis Colts.
The list of the injured in the secondary continues to lengthen after Sunday. The Houston Chronicle’s Aaron Wilson reports on Monday that the secondary will be without cornerback Kevin Johnson with a broken foot.
Johnson started Sunday night’s win over the Colts, playing for the injured Kareem Jackson. Johnson played very well in the game leading the team with tackles with nine.
The Texans also reportedly lost safety KJ Dillon with a torn ACL on Sunday. Houston was already without starting safety Quintin Demps with an injured calf.
The list of the injured continues to mount for the Texans and it is likely the Texans will be forced to make some roster moves if Dillon and Johnson will be out for an extended period of time.
