HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Texans injury report was the longest it has been all season Wednesday when eight players were out with a variety of injuries. The list got a bit shorter on Thursday.
Cornerback Jonathan Joseph and tight end Ryan Griffin returned to practice on Thursday as they make their way through the NFL’s concussion protocol. Both players left last Sunday’s 31-13 loss to the Vikings with concussion symptoms.
Still out for the Texans on Thursday were running back Jonathan Grimes (ankle), safety Quintin Demps (calf), tackle Derek Newton (ankle), tight end Stephen Anderson (hamstring) linebacker Brian Peters (quad) and guard Jeff Allen (concussion).
The Texans host the Colts on Sunday at NRG Stadium.
