Tom Herman Given Best Odds To Become LSU Head Coach

Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The online gambling website has put up odds on who will succeed Les Miles as the head coach of the LSU Tigers football team. The online casino has placed University of Houston head coach Tom Herman at the top of the list of potential candidates with +125 odds.

Miles was fired from LSU after losing to Auburn on Saturday night, a game that looked like the Tigers had won on a last-second touchdown pass before the call being overturned.

The SEC powerhouse is a very desirable school in the heart of a strong football state for recruiting. Behind Herman, other huge names are on Bovada’s list of possible replacements, including former Baylor head coach Art Briles.

Here are the full odds:

Tom Herman (UH): +125
Jimbo Fisher (FSU): +300
Larry Fedora (UNC): +450
Willie Taggart (USF): +650
Ed Orgeron (LSU interim): +900
Lane Kiffin (ALA): +1200
Gary Patterson (TCU): +1800
Chip Kelly (NFL): +1500
Bobby Petrino (LOU): +1500
Art Briles (Unemployed): +2000

Reports have come out that LSU has reached out to a number of these candidates through many of their agents. No official talks have taken place with any of the coaches.
