HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Houston Texans left tackle Duane Brown returned to the practice field on Monday after missing the first three weeks of the regular season and the entirety of training camp rehabbing from a torn quad muscle sustained in Week 17 of the 2016 season.

Head Coach Bill O’Brien has to look at Brown this week and determine if he’s ready to face the division rival Tennessee Titans but did say he could be back this week.

“Possibly this week,” O’Brien said of Brown’s status. “You never know.”

Brown avoided the PPU list at the end of training camp which would have held him out for a minimum six weeks before returning.

If the Pro-Bowl left tackle does get on the field Chris Clark will be relegated to fill in duty while Brown gets 100% healthy.
