Over the years J.J. Watt has become one of the most recognizable and beloved players in the NFL, and for good reason. He’s been an absolute menace on the field, but more importantly, off of it, he’s been just as visible thanks to his charismatic personality and seemingly genuine desire to be more than just a football player.

Before the Texans’ game against the Patriots, Watt showed once more why he’s become one of the most popular players in the league as he tossed the ball around with U.S. service members before kickoff.

It was a small, simple gesture from Watt, but something the service members will undoubtedly remember for the rest of their lives.
