Advocare Texas Kickoff Sold Out Ahead Of Saturday’s OU vs. UH Game

HOUSTON – Lone Star Sports & Entertainment officials announced Wednesday that the Sept. 3 matchup between the University of Houston Cougars (15) and University of Oklahoma Sooners (3) at the fourth annual AdvoCare Texas Kickoff in NRG Stadium is sold out.

The two college football powerhouses will kick off at 11 a.m. CT and will be televised nationally on ABC with Dave Pasch, Greg McElroy and Tom Luginbill on the call.  The game can also be heard locally on SportsRadio 610.

This will be the third matchup all-time between the schools, with Oklahoma winning comfortably in both games. OU won, 40-14, in the 1981 Sun Bowl in El Paso, Texas and were victorious again in 2004, defeating the Cougars 63-13 in Oklahoma in the two team’s only regular season meeting.
