Teddy Bridgewater Goes Down At Vikings Practice

Minneapolis, MN (CBS HOUSTON) – The Minnesota Vikings had a bad day at practice on Tuesday as they saw their starting quarterback Teddy Bridgewater go down with an injury.

Tweets from Vikings practice say Bridgewater went down and it appeared to be a knee injury. Players were praying and an ambulance was called, but no confirmation it was for Bridgewater. The team ended the practice immediately.

This is the third confirmed missing star for a Houston Texans opponent in the first five weeks of the season. Justin Houston is out for the Kansas City Chiefs after being placed on the physically unable to perform list. New England Patriots quarterback Tom Brady will miss the team’s Week 3 game against the Texans due to suspension. Now it would appear Bridgewater will miss the fifth game of the year against the Texans. Pass rusher Pernell McPhee could also miss the opening game for the Chicago Bears at NRG Stadium.
