HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans have been dealing with a variety of injuries throughout training camp from their long offensive line injury list to the high profile injuries of JJ Watt and Jadeveon Clowney.
Rookie wide receiver Braxton Miller did not practice at the Methodist Training Center on Wednesday. He was present on the sidelines near the wide receiving core with training clothes on, but no helmet and jersey.
Wednesday was a full padded practice.
Texans head coach Bill O’Brien gave few details on why his rookie wideout missed practice.
“(Miller) will be allright,” O’Brien said. “Just a little rest day today.”
The former Ohio State Buckeye has seven catches in two games this preseason for 69 yards. His status for the third preseason game against the Arizona Cardinals has not changed.
