Baylor Football Player Caught On Video Beating Dog

Baylor wide receiver Ishmael Zamora was caught on camera whipping and stomping on his black rottweiler.  News Channel 25 has the exclusive video which some may find disturbing.

Zamor told the news outlet, “I lost my temper trying to discipline him,” Zamora said. “I’ve been through training with a dog trainer to help me learn new potty training tips.”

The dog can be heard yelping on the video as it is beat and yelled at by Zamora.

Baylor head coach Jim Grobe told the Waco Tribune-Herald that Zamora will not be removed from the team or suspended from fall practices but his playing time could be affected.

Baylor is currently reeling after a scandal that led to the firing of the university president, head coach Art Briles and many others at Baylor for many issues of sexual and other abuse by athletes at the Baptist college.

Zamora was charged with a Class C misdemeanor and given a citation that could cost up to $500 for the abuse of an animal.

Here is the dog Zamora was hitting with a belt, which according to Deadspin, he has had for almost a full year.
