Roger Clemens To Play Baseball For “MLB Star” Team

Former big league pitcher and Houston Astros star Roger Clemens is going to be taking the hill once again and firing baseballs at live hitters. The 53-year-old is joining as group of former baseball stars and his son Koby on a team that will play in Witchita, Kansas at the National Baseball Congress World Series.

Normally the NBC World Series features college players summer squads but this year the team of form MLBers will face off against the kids on the field.

Adam LaRoche and Nate Robertson, Kansas Natives, helped get the team together that has a lot of familiar names on it including anther former Astro, Roy Oswalt.

That is some randomness of professional ball players. We’ll see if they can win some games. They start August 6th.
