On the final day to get a deal done before a franchise tag is handed down to players in the NFL the Denver Broncos and reigning Super Bowl MVP Von Miller have reportedly agreed to a contract, per Rand Getlin.
Miller had said numerous times that he will not sign his franchise tender if it came to it with the Broncos.
Reports have the deal at six-years, $114 million with $70 million of that money guaranteed.
Houston Texans defensive end J.J. Watt got $51 million guaranteed two years ago and now is the seventh highest paid defensive lineman in football.
Miller tweeted that he will be a Bronco for life after the news was announced.
J.J. Watt sent his congrats to Von Miller.
