Houston (CBS HOUSTON) – The Houston Texans like all 32 teams in the NFL did not select any of the six players in the NFL’s supplemental draft. They did, however, sign one of those players after the draft concluded.
Ra’Zahn Howard a defensive tackle from Purdue University signed with the Texans after the draft.
Howard played in all 12 games for the Boilermakers in 2015 totalling 23 tackles and one sack for the year.
The 6’3″ 325 lb DT fits best as a nose tackle in the 3-4 defense of Romeo Crennel.
