Dwight Howard a Target of the Boston Celtics

HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Dwight Howard could be playing his last year of his current contract after picking the Rockets in free agency in a few years ago and owning a player opt-out this offseason.

Now the question is will Howard finish the season in a Rockets uniform.

Frank Isola of the New York Daily News reports the Boston Celtics have an interest in Howard.

“Meanwhile, the Celtics have engaged the Houston Rockets in talks about a possible deal for Dwight Howard, the Daily News has learned.”

The Celtics are currently right in the middle of the playoff picture in the Eastern Conference. The haul for the Rockets in a potential trade would likely include plenty of draft picks. Boston owns three first-round
