HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – Jadeveon Clowney missed the final two games of the Texans season with a mid-foot sprain, but as he looks forward to the future of his NFL career, he has a clear goal: conquer.
“I know I can dominate this league,” he said after saying he thinks next year will be a big year for him.
“I think it will be great,” Clowney said about his upcoming offseason. He mentioned he was happy to be out on the field this year especially with the chance his knee injury from last year put some if not all, of this season in jeopardy.
Bill O’Brien knows the prescription for Clowney if he has the greatness chasing bug.
“I think the best thing that [Jadeveon] Clowney needs to do is to get healthy and have a great offseason.
“Come back here in great shape. Come back here strong, ready to go. Knowledge of the system. I think the best thing he can do for himself is have a great offseason.”
For Clowney, despite the difficulty of the NFL season, it all sounds quite simple.
“Just keep doing what I’ve been doing, just work hard, and come back and dominate the league.”
