HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON) – The Texans will have three key defensive players this weekend against the Colts despite their missing of practice.
J.J. Watt has a broken hand that has kept him from practicing this week. Brian Cushing has been sidelined this week with a hip injury. Jadeveon Clowney’s hamstring has kept him from participating this week.
Thursday, Bill O’Brien said all three will play this weekend in Indianapolis against the Colts.
In the first meeting with the Colts Cushing had eight tackles. Watt has just two tackles and a QB hit, and Clowney had two tackles, one for a loss.
Brian Hoyer will not play this weekend as he deals with the league’s concussion protocol.
