At halftime on Saturday night at Toyota Center the Toronto Raptors held James Harden to four points, without a made field goal. In the third quarter, the NBA’s leading scorer put up 20, knocking down 5-of-6 from the field. The Rockets finished the quarter on a 12-1 on their way to a 98-76 win.

Harden finished with 5 rebounds, 7 assists and 2 steals without having to play in the fourth quarter.

Both teams shot just 32 percent from the field in the first quarter that ended with the Rockets leading 20-18.

After Houston scored the first three points of the second quarter, Toronto regained the lead with an 8-0 run, but a 12-1 spurt right after, gave the Rockets a 35-27 lead, and they took a 4-point lead to halftime.

Corey Brewer was the Rockets leading scorer at the break with 14, he finished the game as the Rockets high scorer with 26. Terrence Jones added 11 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks.

The teams combined for 49 turnovers, with the Raptors accounting for 25.

Toronto was held to 33 percent from the field, with James Johnson’s 27 points leading the way. Kyle Lowry and DeMar DeRozan combined for 21 points on 6-of-27 shooting.

Saturday’s game was the first of a 5-game homestand for the Rockets,who will host Minnesota on Monday.
