HOUSTON (AP) — A man and a woman have been convicted in Texas of sex trafficking of children in investigations linked to Arkansas and Louisiana.
Prosecutors in Houston says David J. Golson and Arieal J. Bishop coerced at least two minors since 2011.
Bishop pleaded guilty Thursday to possession of child pornography, sex trafficking of a minor and transportation of a minor. She faces up to 20 years in federal prison.
Golson faces up to life in prison after pleading guilty to sex trafficking of minors in Texas and conspiracy to commit sex trafficking in Arkansas. The cases were merged.
Prosecutors say Bishop videotaped Golson having sex with a 17-year-old girl. Bishop posted advertisements for commercial sex for herself and the victim in Houston and Louisiana.
Bishop and Golson were arrested in Arkansas.
