Want a piece of George Strait’s, “Cowboy rides away” concert? One of a kind autographed guitar for a patriotic cause:

Listeners will have a rare opportunity to raise money for American veterans severely wounded in Afghanistan and Iraq, when we auction a concert-used guitar autographed by George Strait, Reba McIntyre, Faith Hill and Tim McGraw.

The on-air auction will be Wednesday from 6 a.m.-10 a.m., with all proceeds going to the Patriots and Heroes organization, which takes veterans recuperating at Maryland’s Walter Reed Hospital and San Antonio’s Brooke Army Medical Center on hunting and fishing trips. The grassroots organization depends solely on private donations and volunteer fishing and hunting guides to help veterans return to the outdoors and get away from the grind of rehabilitation.

Strait donated the guitar, which was used during his recent farewell concert in Arlington.Image
