HOUSTON (CBS Houston):  Number 99 was not seen on the field friday for the Texans final day of OTAs.

J.J. Watt was held out of activities today due to a knee injury, according to Head Coach Bill O’Brien.

“J.J., yesterday in practice, had a little hyperextension on his knee,” O’Brien explained.

Texans fans don’t need to panic just yet, though.

“He’s fine,” the coach continued, “It’s not serious at all.  We just gave him the day off today.”

Crisis averted, for now.

Watt is expected to participate in minicamp.
