Texans Could Be Trading For Ryan Mallett
HOUSTON (CBS HOUSTON): The Houston Texans are just hours away from making the first overall pick in the 2014 NFL Draft and they might be closer than that to acquiring a quarterback from the New England Patriots in backup Ryan Mallett.
Tom Curran who writes for Comcast Sports Network New England tweeted out the above tweet just hours before the NFL Draft was to begin.
Many people expect the Texans to add a quarterback, but most expected that to be either with the first pick in the draft or with their 33rd pick overall, not a trade with the New England Patriots.
A few moments after his tweet saying the talks were on going, Curran tweeted out this:
Second source says nothing doing at the moment on Mallett to Houston. We'll watch how it plays out. Makes sense if Clowney is No. 1.—

Everyone will just have to wait and see. But everyone is tired of waiting.
